Recipe FAQ Section

How do I get the flatbreads cheesy without burning them?

Cook the tortillas cheese-side up over medium-low heat, covered, for 1-2 minutes until the cheese melts without browning too much. Use a non-stick skillet to prevent sticking.

Can I prepare the beef filling ahead of time?

Yes, you can cook the beef filling in advance and refrigerate it. Reheat gently on the stove before assembling for best results.

What can I use instead of ranch dressing?

Try taco sauce, salsa, or a light crema to add tang and moisture without overpowering the other flavors.

How do I keep the cheesy flatbread wrapped securely around the shell?

The melted cheddar acts like an adhesive. Press the warm cheesy flatbread around the crunchy shell gently to help it stick as it cools slightly.

Are there good substitutions for ground beef?

Cooked lentils or plant-based ground alternatives work well for a vegetarian-friendly filling while maintaining texture and flavor.
