- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large skillet over medium heat, melt 2 tablespoons of butter. Add the diced apples, brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, salt, and lemon juice. Cook, stirring occasionally, until the apples are tender and the mixture has become syrupy, approximately 8 to 10 minutes. Remove from heat and allow to cool slightly.
- In a small bowl, combine the granulated sugar and 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon.
- Lay out the tortillas. Spread 1 tablespoon of caramel sauce evenly in the center of each tortilla. Divide the cooked apple mixture among the tortillas, placing it over the caramel sauce.
- Fold in the sides of each tortilla and then roll them up tightly to enclose the filling.
- Brush the exterior of each wrap with the melted butter. Sprinkle generously with the prepared cinnamon-sugar mixture.
- Place the prepared wraps seam-side down on the lined baking sheet. Bake for 12 to 15 minutes, or until the wraps are golden brown and slightly crisp.
- Allow the wraps to cool for 5 minutes. Drizzle with additional caramel sauce before serving.
